I'm about to make a new board, and I can't find an EPS blank with appropriate rocker for what I want to do. I don't want have to do massive changes of rocker and foil.

I've decided to do a board in PU. I haven't shaped a PU since my last Walker Foam blank the year after Clark closed.

My question is- do PU blanks still have the issue of diminishing strength as you cut deeper into the blank? The blank I'm looking at (7-1 EA US Blanks) is 3" thick and I'm thinking of a 2-5/8 to 2-3/4 thickness. Again I don't want to have to plow the bottom to get the proper thickness. Should I change plans?
