South End. In front of the pavillion, jetty to the left where anyone with a bodyboard, bellyboard, inner tube, etc. was supposed to be..

Back then the setup was everything named above at the jetty to the left, swimmers in the middle and surfing at the jetty to the right. Summer rules of course. That was one of those sweet styrofoam boards with the vinyl covering. The deluxe model that had a rubber fin that could be put in. Got it at the Manasquan 5 & 10. The following year I got my first real board. A Mike Tabling twin fin, channel bottom, swallow tail. Don't remember the dims..

JJR - You think if I got another one of those old school belly boards I'm riding in my pic we could hook it up with some Lok Box fins. That rubber skeg just didn't cut it..
