dk,
That's great!
Dave Setgast is the Red X rep in Florida
you can reach him at 321-725-7528
He should be able to show you everything you need to know. He'll have to get an install kit from Larry Block Enterprises.

If you need anything else you know where to find me

Is it true the Red X's are made in China? That's what a little birdie told me. Not that I really care.

yeah my real name is Tom & my real e-mail address is tom@daumtooling.com
There are easier and harder ways to do the installation. Our kit is really setup for production glass shops. But, I know people that have put them in with dremil tools. Our kit requires a 1/2" plunge router with a 7" round base and a 2-1/2" plunge depth. The jig sucks down with 100 psi compressed air. I know that this sounds like alot. But, really all you're doing is routing a few rectangular holes. One each 1-1/4" deep by .83" wide and 3" long and the other through the deck and .83" wide by 1-1/8" long. The centerline side fins box routes are offset outboard by .16" so the inside edge of the box is in line with your fin marks. The center fin box is dead center. and the same dimensions.

I can fax you a complete set of install instructions and you can decide what portion of the install kit you'll need. PM me or e-mail me and I'll get you more information.

I make all the injection molded components here in San Clemente. But, yes, it is true that the Air Cells and the Laminated fiberglass fins are made in the Orient, just like Futures and FCS.

Aloha Tom
who's your biggest retail dealer on Oahu? I know your rep is at Laminations but it's hard to find your stuff retail around here.

I'm looking for some of the new 80/20 fins or something similar to the Future Vector 3/2 cant wise for a RedEx setup.

It's for a Quad fish..
