Is snowbird a good call for late June Corn carving in a t shirt?
A lot of Wasatch resorts close earlier than you’d think no matter how much snow they have. I think it’s something to do with their lease from the national forest but I could be wrong.

Scored Baldy yesterday. Lift 3/ Thunder Mtn was delayed but started spinning by 1pm. Let me tell you I've never ridden powder like that South of Mammoth, it was pretty unbelievably epic!
I scored baldy with thigh deep powder three years ago with a lot less of a base than they have now and it’s got surprisingly good terrain. I can imagine it’s great now. I’ll take it over big bear any day.

Yeah Vermont from from garbage to golden in late January and seems to be holding so far.

Next storm coming Tuesday. Another 1' to 3' of snow expected, down to 3000'.

This winter is off the chart with fresh pow. Most snow I've ever seen in my lifetime.

I feel like I have to fly out and get some of this historic winter. Where would be the safest/easiest/sure fire place to fly in and out and ride for 2 weekdays? Best bang for time, location, terrain, accessibility, direct from jfk of course…

no long drives, little to no risk of vehicular hassles and road closures etc

maybe its not the sierras, but park city or summit county or wherever. But it looks like these historic totals are focused on the big coast ranges…
