He's also stated that he wants to end his career by qualifying and competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics, especially since they'll be holding it at Teahupo'o (French Polynesia). Right now he's just under the mid-season cutline. Things are getting interesting.

And yet another year with no mention of Sunny who was arguably the best Bells surfer of his time. You would think Kelly would give him a mention in a post heat interview or the WSL broadcast team like Kaipo or Pete, nope, crickets. Does the WSL have a gag order not to mention his name like they do with Bethany Hamilton? Any update on Sunny's current state? I'm sure Kelly knows something.
