Im a working stiff and at times tire of my job and the bull$h!t but for the most part like what I do. The partners here are pretty cool and usually give me day(s) in the sun when i ASK but have to pick my spots and make sure Ive got my ass covered. <P>Today they surprised me.<P>There's a Nor-easter blowing thru and one partners comes in the office and says half jokingly, half excited for me, "Surfs gotta be building out there. Wanna take a 1/2 day today?" I told him flat out NO. He looked a lil' puzzled thinking Ild be all over the offer. I quickly countered w/ wanting tomorrow off. For a minute he didnt knw if I was serious but I assured him I was totally serious. He said fine. BAsically told me go SURF!!! <P>I cldnt be in a better mood right now
