Waves of that size will be right at Oregon/California border and will be a wind-whipped frenzy.

Doubtful there will be surfable stuff except at the mysto spots.....see ya at Purple Cow.

1977, 8th grade, SNOW, not hail or frost on the beach in seal beach. In early January. We wore aqua lids and Playtex gloves back then.

hahaha....I have no idea how to measure

let's say, I could not wear flip flops out to the truck this morning
and my Vans would have only been suitable for there and back

so it's a hiking boot amount of snow on the ground

Talked to a guy at work today who drove back to Santa Cruz yesterday from Idaho. Said going over the Sierras last night on I80 was knarly. 60 mph winds, blizzard conditions. Chains mandatory. High temp in Santa Cruz today was 48 degrees.

At my parent's place in Pioneer right now. They got a solid foot of snow at 3300' and it still snowing on and off. Took about 6 runs from the street, down the side of the house, and down the hill behind the property. First turns of the season!
