mmm nice.
Is that rail colour a result of the red an blue tints mixing or a seperate process?

YOu've inspired me. How did you do the top red bit is it similar to a cut lap just not laped? I am busy on a single fin myself I hope it looks 20% as good as that. Robbie is a lucky man

NeatO; is that a little S-deck action going on towards the tail?

From that POV it looks a little like a McCoy, 'cept for the pointy nose.

Rob designed the CI fin for that board but I'm sure he plays around with other fins.
I forgot to drill out the leash loop on that board so now he is not allowed to fall. He thought I did it on purpose and seemed kinda stoked.

The color work is uh...a neat simple trick and yeah, you guys got it. You make me proud, sniff.

Do you guys mix red pigment into the red tint, since the stringer is kinda hard to see. Or do you use white to even the colors out.
Cool retro leash attachment.
That fin box....is it a Bahne with serrated sides or is it a Chinook, which can be posted to the deck?
Just wondering, I like the looks of the new style single fins SOOOOO much better than the stuff we made in the '70's.

Thanks for the reply.
It's funny how the original pic of the bottom seems to show a serrated box, and the second pic shows obviously, it's a plain ole' Bahne.
I like that the box is set close to the tail, as shorter wider singles need the fins well back for positive turns.

Leed,

what your seeing is whats in the computer graphics world called aliasing. Its when a computer screen tries to interpret a straight line at an angle with pixels. Instead of a smooth line you get a staircase like line... So the box looks jagged even though its straight. I hope that makes sense. Computers, thats my domain
