1. The submission field doesn't refresh after "Post reply." Also, the overall page doesn't refresh to show the new post.
2. After posting, there always seem to be the error message "A server error occurred. Please try again later."
3. Had trouble with the image link feature.
4. Don't know how to embed videos such as YouTube.

I have never seen an upgrade to any app or Site that actually improved things. All they do is change formats and add additional buggy features in lieu of fixing the original issues/bugs. Then again, I've seen the way the techie crowd drives so it doesn't surprise me that they're just as oblivious to every other aspect of the world too.

Instead of bells and whistles that do nothing (if you were all in charge of hardware, you'd be converting Crays to TRS-80s):

Make embedding videos a lot easier - automatic with just linking to the video. Facebook does this - so can you.
Do the same with photos. You should be able to upload direct from phone/file.
If you're going to switch to those emojis, add a shitload more. Better yet, just bring back the old ones, including the smirk and beating of dead horse.

fwiw one of the main issues with message boards forums is hackers. You are often forced to 'upgrade' to new versions to try to keep ahead of them. support for older versions is quickly dropped when new versions are available
