I was a brief phil major at UCSB. Either Kant or probably Hume class was nuts (an actual class where you only read and analyze Hume / Kant etc) - sometimes one page would take me like an hour to understand. Read it, wtf did I just read? Read again, again, and then be expected to write a paper about it

Did you take the class with Francis Dauer? Chain smoker would take smoke breaks in middle of lecture? Tough class that Hume one. That guy ruled.
