I had my hernia surgery yesterday and they asked me about my vax status. Told them I had the J&J.

They gave me leg squeezers for the procedure to prevent clotting.

I’ve had a few surgeries in the past and they never used them on me before.

1 Hope you are feeling well and not too hung over from the anesthesia.
2 Different medial teams will change the processes because of various reasons.
3 As people get older, "leg squeezers" become more useful. Hopefully they speed up the healing process for you.

age and risk factors for clotting are probably the strongest determinants

1. I feel fine.
2. The squeezers were explicitly for preventing blood clots during surgery.
3. They aren’t recovery.

And then you are supplimenting male hormones.

Hernia treatment has evolved in the last 50 years.

But probably it's the J%J you had two years ago causing stuff.

What is a squeezer?

they put these peristaltic pump things on your legs to keep the blood moving so you don't get a deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

I figured it out just by asking. IT's weird how that works.

And lymph too

I bought some for my brother in law because he had knee replacement.

He didn't use them.
