its your board right? you can call it whatever you want. you can even call it a single fin if you want.
^ reminds me of earlier today. i surfed 2nd point @ malibu...and there was this guy out there with a yellow/orange hic pickle nose quad fin. a bit awkward looking...but the ENTIRE session. he was all smiles. especially after each wave he rode.

you should let me ride that thing and lets see if the plugs do rip out.=)

you shold try putting that center fin some time. When i Tried Glen Kennedy's Fish ( glass on fins with FCS center which he used an Occy center fin on) it felt super loose already. i cant imagine it without the centrer fin. It would probably ride my 5'6 twin fin.

ive been telling you to give my 5'6 twin a test drive for a long time and see how big of a difference this Pile turns compared to your new board... jk=)

Gus thats a sweet looking board. Try the new Fcs fiber glass fins

THE F SERIES: FIBERGLASS FINS WITH INSIDE FOIL

The inside foil and reconfigured fin angle means your board generates speed easier and has better acceleration out of turns. It will make smoother rail to rail tranitions while allowing you to commit more of your weight to each turn and draw tighter more powerful arcs.

The fiberglass and foam construction is super light!! It's engineered with a progressive fiberglass flex pattern to give you more snap out of turns.

FG-3: red. base 4 1/4" depth 4 3/8"

FG-5: blue. base 4 1/4" depth 4 1/2"

FG-7: black. base 4 5/8" depth 4 5/8"

ALL FINS IN PACK OF 3

These fins rock and will suit your board down to the ground. The MR twinny's are huge and when really pushed will blow the plug out. My bro blew one out of an epoxy board!! These fiberglass fins are super light and flex like a normal set of glass ons. I am heavy so have the 7's so gauge or weight and buy those. Well smart!! Also get a set of the Curved FCS fins. I ride a couple of boards with the curved side fins in and a normal k.2 fcs back fin.

Totally transforms the board and gives the tail lift. It flies!!! Hope that helps dude!! Thats one nice looking board!

Not meant to knock your shaper but I can see some very evident areas of the board that is quite noticeable.

If you look carefully at the outline symmetry at the nose one side is curvy and the opposite outline is straighter. The difference is noticeable on both pics of top and bottom. Another area that is very noticeable is the Vee off the tail one side has much more vee off the rail than the other side. If you look very carefully you can see the rail thickness difference where the wings are.

As long as you are happy with the way the board performs is all that matters.

bigbrother,
to judge a board by a photograph is nuts

if the board is slightly tilted and can make a board look liek friscos

dk has a point. i think its an illusion made by the picture, cause if you look the fins on the right side are farther forwards then the left, i hope thats not the case.

I think the baord is fine and its all to do with an optical illusion. If you look at the door that the board is resting against the top is wider than the bottom.

I think the boar is just at a funny angle to the camera!!

you might want to stick with bad picture as well...considering the fact that i had gone through half a case of beer by the time i was snapping these.
