I put smaller center fins in almost all of my thrusters. It works really well. Give it a shot.
If you like the large Jordy set and it's working for you, then get the medium set for the bigger days in a narrower tailed board. The added bonus is you can use the large fronts and the medium rear when you want to loosen up a board.
