Heading down to Nica in the next couple weeks and I'm going to have a full day to burn in Managua. Any recommendations for things to see/do in or around the city?

Didn’t get the greatest suggestions from locals when I was there and went through it. Probably best bet is to find a comfortable hotel with a pool and bar to just chill at.

Yeah, Managua ain't the best city to 'hang out' in...I've heard the market is cool.

Headed there next week. Anyone have any current experience with the COVID requirements to enter? Restrictions indicated that a vax card with at least two doses is acceptable?

Vax card is fine. Digital and/or physical card worked for everyone I went down with. It's just a few nurses checking them against the name on your passport right after you get off the plane, before you enter the customs area.

* On another note, Managua was lame as expected. There's nothing to do for a middle aged married guy except try to see a baseball game at the national stadium or maybe go to one of the casinos. But, for the single guys, one of our crew was single and his Tinder was off the charts down there. If you've got even an ounce of game, there's no need for hookers.
