Outofluck...

What is the length of that fish?

Would you be interested in trading for this (sharpeye GL2)? It is a little bigger (6'2") but works like a champ. Perfect condition.

OR if you want a smaller, thinner small-wave board that flat-out rips, I would be willing to trade this one:

5'8" x 19" x 2.25" TB "MC fish"

Board is in very good condition with a few dents on the deck and one small fixed ding in the nose. This is sorta my "signature board" that I helped design/develop with the shaper. It is very foiled down and best ridden with Twin+trailer (which I would include). This particular one was ordered to replace an older, beat up one. I rode it a little but then winter and my daughter came along and I put some weight on, so I would really need to re-order this one a bit bigger/thicker to ride it again.

The foil is very agressive and meant for on-rail driving and ripping (looks just like the one below):

The blunt nose helps in reverses, airs, and shortens the rail line and helps the board fit in tighter pockets. I have tons of photos of me on this design if you need convincing Here is a sample:

Hey SaK,

The BE is a 5'6". I really wish your GL2 was 4-5" shorter - I'd be all over it. As for the TB, it's an interesting shape but I pretty much wanna stick to a traditional thruster setup for a small wave board. With limited time to surf cause of work I wanna keep things consistent and stick with tri-fins for now.

Thanks.

No prob, understood. Wish I had something you liked as I want to have another Mabile in my quiver (I have a 5'8" which actually feels a bit big from time to time and wold love to try a 5'6").

If I can find someone with something similar to what you want I'll let you know and I might be able to arrange something that would work out for all 3 of us. If someone offers to sell you a shortie that you particularily like, let me know what they are charging and maybe I'll foot the bill in exchange for the fish.

FYI- the TB was designed as a thruster (I also have some thruster fins that I could offer, all carbon-lite fins), but I just found that big sides and a small trailer work better for me. As for the nose, its really more or less a 6'0" ish with the nose hacked off.... doing so lets it fit in tighter pockets and reduces the swing-weight for quicker reaction.

Cool, thanks. I asked a friend of mine if he has any under 6' shorties he wants to sell. I'll relay them over to you if I see something worthwhile.
