As I age I find, at least here on the east coast, the early morning sessions can just blow my eyes out staring east, right into the sun, looking for waves. And of course just overall sun protection in general.

I went ahead and ordered the Surge version, I'll provide feedback when I get them. At least get some eye protection from contact to the eye.
-I do know someone who was surfing in Costa Rica, not a highly skilled surfer, and got a fin to his eye and lost it, YUCK!
