All the stuff Oeste said and then also my buddy had his wrap around his board on a heavy wipeout and it cinched down and cut through the rail all the way to the stringer on one side right in front of the fins. They break too easy?
oh man. Apparently, same thing just happened to @HalfBlood415All the stuff Oeste said and then also my buddy had his wrap around his board on a heavy wipeout and it cinched down and cut through the rail all the way to the stringer on one side right in front of the fins.
Bring pot of water to a boil. Remove pot from heat. Put leash in hot water for 30 seconds. Remove from water.Avoid the Slater Designs leash. I've had one over a year and there's still kinks in it from the packaging.
It pains me to say that because it's supposed to be environmentally friendly 'n chit.
mine broke twice in same session. never againstay covered

Save you $200 hang your leash attach cuff velcro and leash string side attach 5lb weight leave over nightI would pay $200 for a leash that doesn't ever get wrapped around my feet when I stand up.
+1Standard da kine is usually the cheapest and last years.
haven't had one break on me yetmine broke twice in same session. never again
I would say dangling or ditching board instead of duck diving like surfers used to doI would say the majority of leash breakage is people not realizing their swivel has come unscrewed.
