Oregon pays ZERO sales tax, yet they seem to be getting along just fine without it.

While CA will be approaching 9-10% sales tax soon if Dems get their way.

To be fair there are ZERO withholdings on payments I get from my employer. There are indeed payroll taxes and withholdings on what I pay myself from my s-Corp. But it’s considerably less.

Seriously contemplating moving back to DE to retire in 10 years. Live there only enough to claim legal residency and spend the rest of the year in Huatulco and Chula. May and June and September and October are great months on the EC.
