This island is the furthermost island of the chain that is west and looks likely to pick up the most swell , any info ?????

Hmmm. That picture's not La Palma after all, it's La Santa.. I don't know if La Palma has surf. Good luck.

I've been to four of the other islands in the Canaries but not La Palma. All the Canary islands get plenty of swell Oct to March. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

The Canaries have swell year round - you just have to switch sides of the island. That said much of the coast line is volcanic rock that drops off into the sea so there are not allways surf spots (roads) on the side of the islands that are getting surf . If you want big waves go in the winter. go in Feb and combine the trip with Carnival - one of the biggest parties in the world

La Palma is a great place and should be expereinced even if you don't get to surf that much
