they look off to me but camera angles can be very deceiving. So Kelly is really liking the battail lately? I thought he had one at the Pipe Masters too. Pretty cool looking board. Rails look quite thin on the tail. Is that for increased maneuverability?

By comparison, anyone know what dos juan was riding?

Can u see the instagram pic I linked
Oh now I do. Thanks for pointing out. So JuanJuan chose to ride a quad and I think that was a good choice. So many guys didn't have the speed to make it around the bottom on those huge waves and he made it look quite easy. Especially funny because I remember Ross saying how he prefers three fin and thinks they work better out there because they are move maneuverable. Wonder what the dims were on JuanJuan's board are and what fins?

Most machine cutters here refuse to cut these for fear of health reasons here after cutting them.

My cutter does .

" We use highly engineered materials in our entire process to create our foam, and the alcohol-based blowing agent isn’t something we can replace if we want to continue to make consistent, uniform blanks. We recommend using proper respirators which can filter organic vapors, but our foam is non-hazardous to work with."

Read somewhere it's the same board he rode when won it back in 2002(?)...an 8'-something.
Were they doing carbon strips that long ago?
2002 seems like eons ago.
The board with the black paint is the 2002 board, he had to paint over the Quik logos. He used the old board in the first heat.
