Has anyone had a chance to ride one of thses models or a board that's similar? If so, how much shorter are you riding it than your regular shortboard? Could this board work as a swallow tail? Thanks-

everyday board: 6'2" x 18.5 x 2.25
fish style (narrow nose board): 5'11" x 19.25 x 2.25 (slightly boxier rails).

Hope that helps you

I don't ride anything that's called a pig.

i have not ridden a similar board in years, but i have a question to a professional shaper or anyone knowledgable in this area how do you measure exactly the nose, middle, tail, and thickness of a surfboard; thanks

I'm not a shaper. But, Nose measure the width 12" down from tip. Tail 12" up from end of tail. The max width is pretty obvious. Thickness you need a set of calipers for with really deep arms. But, once you have them it's max thickness.
