So the narrative is that Trump/Putin had a guy inside the FBI who got himself assigned to be the lead investigator of the Trump/Putin master plan to get Trump elected POTUS so that he could clear Trump of any wrong doing?

That’s one hell of a story….

no doubt desperate to make a plea deal, be very interesting to see what he offers up.
As to Wray, the FBI has been nothing but a clown show since he was appointed Director.
Lot of reporting out has been coming out about how the FBI knew just how serious 1/6 was going to actually be, and Wray did little to raise the alarm across law enforcement.
If he had, and a solid show of force around the capitol had been established, the break-in would not have incurred, and hundreds of misguided 'patriots' would not be doing time, with their personal lives a trainwreck of lost jobs, divorces and lawyer bills.
Always a good idea to keep the kiddies away from the matches, they just can't help themselves
