I think the uniparty thing is more of an “internal” distinction.
Outwardly and to the public they’re virtue signaling their right or left cause du jour but “behind the scenes” they’re working towards same goal of wealth and power. (I’m guessing here)
Right and left both saying “this is most important election ever, if the other guy gets in it will be the last election ever”.
Not that I agree with the sentiment that both sides are the same.
