I don't know how I got around it.
Ca AG Bonta wants to take Temecula school district to court because they want to make the schools have to notify the kid's parents if the kid identifies as trans.
I even sent him an email voicing my concern.

That’s a pretty ironic statement if you actually read the law.

Making parents the enemy and pitting them against teachers is a horrible strategy; I am gonna guess most teachers are appalled at this idea but are afraid to speak out against their district. The inmates are running the asylum on this one.
A local school board voted to inform the parents if their child “identified as” trans at school.
The state is bringing the school board members to court and possibly filing civil rights violation charges.

My gripe is with the policy of not telling the parents the kid wants to be trans at school
Ca has been pushing parent involvement for the last 10 years hard.
Now they saying keep the parents out in this case.
That is madness.
If it's a safety issue for the child call CPS.
If the kid doesn't want parents to know don't come out at school.
