We started out a few months back banning travel from just about every country in the known world into the USA.
Know the known world is banning flights into their countries from the USA.
we were something like 26th to LIMIT, not ban travel from China, and we balked on restricting travel to and from Europe, which is where most of the virus came from (of course by way of China originally).
We failed to produce and/or procure the necessary supplies like PPE, medical equipment, masks, gloves, etc. Then we failed to implement a testing and tracing program And had a patchwork (at best) lockdown........THEN we opened some areas too quickly. Now we have the virus runn rampant in 40 out of 50 states.
the richest, most powerful country in the world is an abject failure.
Mostly because of the failed leadership coming from the top.
Maybe we just got really good at only testing positive cases?

Right after Pence came here to assure Texans that the Federal gov't. was there to provide whatever we needed in our struggle to contain the exploding new cases, overwhelming hospitalizations and exponentially increasing deaths, testing sites had to close down due to lack of tests.
