I have - it was OK but I quit - it's not as good as a good wax job - it is clean and won't melt if that's important to you

Use Gryptalite. Far superior to Hex, and almost the same as wax without the bad things of wax. I have been using it for two years now on all my boards and works great for me (big, small....)

Yeah I've been thinking about this again. I've almost pulled the trigger on gryptalite a couple of times. XM makes a product for this as well I just saw yesterday.

I just rewaxed a board and surfed it one time before the wax got too hot in the car and now it's flaking off and I've got to redo it again. East coast summers are brutal on wax jobs. Plus having to redo the wax on your whole quiver a couple times a year when the temp is changing...

I tried a front pad once and I liked the feel and it made front foot adjustments a breeze but I didn't like being further away from the board.
