A few rare winter days at Zuma take the cake for me hands down, not even a conest for ppsi heaviness and still being perfect and almost every wave make-able if you can get in and make the drop. Big scary DOH++ howling offshore a-frames and hucking further out into the flats than I've seen at any CA (or mex, or anywhere) beachbreak, over shallow hard packed sand, mid beach area (not Westward). It turns on/off so fast, I can only imagine the epic uncrowded sessions like that, the very few people who live there oceanfront who surf, and can handle those kind of waves, and don't have many commitments outside of surfing manage to get each year.
