Is my "good wave board".. the steeper it is the more the board lights up for me. Everything he says in the video I found to be true but not a board I like for fatter mushier days. Requires lots of use input like a hpsb, really loose and not super drivey..on the right day its magic.

That is what I was hoping for. I have plenty of boards for the fatter mushier days. I need more of a good wave board. Head high+ fast beachbreak days, where I need something that will hold well coming off the bottom.

I think he recommends the Mystic for more HP but could be wrong and another one like it. Id chat with him and let him steer you.

Or the Hornet...?

I wish he wouldn't call it a shadow 2... OG Shadow is one of my favorite boards of all time. So many features that work together in perfect harmony.

I've given the Von Sol Shadow 2 a spin. It's a pretty sweet ride, especially if you're into smooth turns and solid control. The design feels sleek, and it handles well in different conditions.
