Sold! $12.99. That's so cheap! Nep, we gotta get on NS2: Return of the Haole! See you Thursday.
SYNOPSIS
In this youthful surfing adventure, a hot young surfer wins a wave-tank contest in his native Arizona and decides to temporarily abandon his studies to hit the fantastic waves of the Hawaiian North shore pipeline. Once there, he is derided by the other surfers because nobody believes that a boy from the desert could possibly know anything about surfing real waves. Fortunately, an aging hippie (and supremo surfer), who designs boards for a living, believes in him and so teaches him the ropes. While learning about the sea and preparing for an international surfing competition, the boy also learns valuable lessons about life and love. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
Such a great, simple story. Fvckin' A.

That movie was on TV a couple of weeks ago. Me and my kids watched it right before we went to the North Shore. The whole time we were there we kept referring back to the movie when we were reminded of it. I think my son was pretending he was the kid who played the leading role, the whole time we were on the North Shore. He wants to see it again, now that he was there. Fun movie, Lopez rules!

I wonder is anyone has ever thought of making a sequel.
Like maybe a real surfer, or a collaboration of real surfers, who are writers, but just not professional writers, well even if they are professional writers, that's okay, but that would be cool if they just wrote a sequel.
I wonder if anyone ever thought of that.
