Everyone who filmed that knew where and when the explosion was going to go off.
Usually not great to see colors in explosions, except for fireworks.
But the red could just be a lot or iron oxides, like what one would find in a shipyard, and paints.

Putting "Beirut explosion" returned dozens of results dating back decades but I'm sure this one is just an accident at the fireworks factory and this one was just an explosion at a perfume factory:

Red phosphorus, iron oxides, and strontium are common components in fireworks.
Seems easy for a firework factory to do a bit of "special orders" here and there.
