Pole vault is like surfing, among the most interesting athletic endeavors. Both use fiberglass/resin for their tools. The run up to the pit is like paddling into a wave. Planting the pole and clearing the bar are comparable to popping up. The ride is the easy part, just like falling back to the matt is the easy part after the difficulty of clearing the bar. I never heard the results of the EDDIE just like I didn't hear about a new WR in pole vault a few months ago. Duplantis improves his record centimeter by centimeter. Next some joker will post women pole vaulting, so I will do the same here! Easy to remember Duplantis 6.23 in 2023 at the age of 23. He also did 20' in 2020 at the age of 20. Nobody else in the world can even vault 20'.
