Like it or not we are a union of 50 individual states. Each state is unique. The system was set p precisely so big states could not walk all over the smaller states. That system is a big part of the glue that has held this country together for the past 244 years.
In this day and age I don't even think accurate polling is possible. Most people don't have land lines anymore. They aren't taking many calls from unknown numbers on their cell phones. On-line polling is a joke. How can you possibly get an accurate sample today.........for either side's polling efforts. If your sample is no good your poll is worthless.
