I wouldn't choose either but if I had to I'd go with Hillary (you have no idea how much it pains me to say that). Obama's severe lack of experience is a turn off for me.

He's too much of a racist to chose Obama and couldn't go for anyone nemed Clinton, he'd probably just move to Mexico and surf every month or so.

...Obama's severe lack of experience is a turn off for me.
But it worked so well for GW!

Seriously, I'm not so sure that a Presidential candidate necessarily needs too much political "experience" in order to be able to be an efficient leader. GOP poster-boy Ronnie Reagan was only the President of SAG before he was elected governor of CA, and people seemed to like his abilities. Bubba Clinton was only Attorney General of AR before he was elected governor of a small, Southern state, and he parlayed that into a pretty serious national career.

Like most contenders, Obama has a solid educational background (BA, Columbia; JD, Harvard; President of the Harvard Law Review; taught Constitutional Law at University of Chicago Law School), and 10 years in public service, although only at the national level since 2004. That said, for a newbie Senator he sits on some pretty heavy-hitting committees: Foreign Relations; Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; and Veterans' Affairs.

Will all of that translate to a good president? Who knows. But he's as qualified as anyone running to give it a shot, for sure.

I should have specified...lack of EXECUTIVE experience of which Obama has nil. Hilary at least has some by virtue of being first lady.

I agree somewhat. However I feel that the Presidency of our next leader will be a really unique situation for the incumbent President. They'll be walking into quite the mess with two wars going on and a sh!t load of broken down foreign relations to restore. Hopefully Obama is racking up experience on the CFR.
So how exactly does Edwards get your nod over Obama? He's got less experience than anyone, no? I like the guy, too, but I'm just sayin'...

BTW, I'd hardly consider Disco a racist, unless you can consider Democrats a race in and of themselves, then I'd agree.

Once again I find myself agreeing with DT. Giulani and Obama would be an awesome ticket.

Edwards is a loser IMHO. I am no fan of Dick Cheney but Cheney made Edwards look like a JV quarterback in the Superbowl during the VP debate last election.

No way will Edwards win for the Democrats

If they tell me to choose two people, I would say:

Tiger woods/ Pete Sampras

These two legends overcame amazing challenges that no one has achieved before.

Giulliani/Obama?

Damn, do you get paid to sit around all day and think up things that would finally drive a wooden stake through the heart of BB politics?

Seriously, that would be a sweet ticket.
Probably lead to world peace or something.
Well, at least in the Western world.
Is there a chode slurping emoticon around here for Disco to use?

I'm thinkin Obama/Edwards. Nearly unbeatable combo-plate.
I think judging someone by the color of their skin is, well.....racist.
I never judge a man by the color of his skin.

I judge him by the size of his nostrils!

Yes, I would choose an Obama over a Clinton.
Only because he would be too young and too dumb to repeat the mistakes of a Clinton.

Seriously, don't get all warm and gooey over Obama and Edwards.
They are both going to take a pounding in primaries.
And neither will come out of it feeling very good.
Old school dems (the pre-Mondale crowd) will never go for a Hillary.

And for those who think I am racist, well, the African American family that we had Christmas dinner with were somewhat subdued on Obama, wanting him to have more experience before jumping in at the deep end.
Racist, me?
NFW.
That couldn't be further from the truth.

Remember, an Edwards/Obama ticket will have a few ayatollahs warming up their "sucker the rubes into the sideshow act" just like they did with Carter and Bullshit Billy.
Did Dexeco really just use the "some of my best friends are black" line?

Ohhhhhhhh, I get it now. I no longer feel slighted.

So, they're not your friends, then? Don't you think it's a little lefty to discuss politics with the help?
