I’ll attend this thread.

I say good. We need oil. It’s the most important substance we use to be able to live as well as we do.

It is used in every single aspect of our daily lives. None of us be here if it wasn’t for oil. And by here I don’t mean posting on this forum (although computers wouldn’t exist without oil), I mean we would all be dead.

Life expectancy would be in the 40s, if even that high. We would live lives of misery and toil, the only saving grace is that those lives would be short.

It's so much easier to harpoon them on land and less wasteful when 2 out 3 don't sink to the bottom.
