Dakine "Easy Clip"

Curious if any knows how to attach the quick release aka "Easy Clip" on the Dakine leash. I am assuming you remove the grub screw and then push the clip through? Seems a little odd that there are no instructions/it comes installed, but whatever and with hat in hand I reach out to the kind fellows, and gals, on here. Are there any gals on here?
-and figure better to have this leash and not need it, than to not have it and to have wanted it.

Thanks but it comes with the leash specifically, so it's meant to fit. I unscrewed the grub screw and forced in the pin seems like the picture, I reached out to Dakine, any 411 I will pass it along
