I'm looking for something that is possibly Spanish speaking, being I'm minoring in Spanish it would be a good learning experience, and I'm a beginner/intermediate surfer and am really looking to surf in another country. I'd also like some thing cheap, even if its camping somewhere...
Lemme know if anyone has any thoughts that could meet these requests...thanks so much

Mainland Mexico or Costa Rica. Spanish speaking, warm water and spots for all surf levels. Easy to "take a seat and enjoy the show."

Puerto Rico. Cheap, spanish and lots of English (it's just a minor after all) and lotsa surf. Rincon if you're one bad shredda and San Jaun if you're not. Plus all 90 something miles in between is surfable as well.

Depends on when you are going. I would suggest you try Costa Rica. a LOT of easy/beginner friendly breaks, and you'll get a TON of chances to try out your spanish. Plus, it is gorgeous and there are other things you can do besides surf if you aren't that hardcore (lush rainforests, moutains, rivers, lounging on the beach, etc.)
