I met Shaun Thompson at Steamers (82/83?). Such a nice fellow. Now this Harbor Rat Christian… (well I have surfed with his Pops) is a bit bedraggled. I do believe he was driving the truck drunk that mindlessly killed Justin Roberson, an upcoming young aerialist from Maui. Fuck Christian Fletcher.
Shaun was pretty unpopular in this area due to his behavior in the water.

One of my all time favorite surf video sections.
I encoutered ST once at Leo Carillo, late afternoon, shoulder high, fun. Four other guys out and we had a great rotation going. Orderly. Everyone taking turns. Out comes ST. Proceeds to paddle to the top of the pack, take the next set wave, paddle back out and sit on top. Over and over. FUkkin dick.
I shot Justin at the Harbor while shooting a Female Pro (87). He was a sweet guy. The opposite of CF. I was in the Napili Canoe Club where I met his Dad Jon. The entire Roberson Ohana are water folk.
Apparently and Justin was in the bed of the Tacoma. It crashed on Cristianitos. CF said “. Oh I felt do bad I quit drinking for a year”. What a fucking punk.

At some point Christian Fletcher gotta realize the shitty punk concert is over and it's time to move on. Shaun Tomson deserves every wave he gets. He did you a favor by snaking all you clowns that can barely get to your feet.

CF is the kid rock of the surfing world....desperate for attention but so mush brained that he is not capable of proper trolling...everything about this is pathetic.
I have a hard time not seeing all the Fletchers as trash. They're bad people.
