Progressive metal/NuMetal is different from all those

Punk is The Adverts, Pistols, or Ramones

Speed is Motorhead

Death is Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse

Thrash is Anthrax and early Metallica,

Doom is Witchfinder General, Weed Demon (sludge?)

Progressive metal is Dream Theater

Nu Metal is Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot (gross)
