Los Angeles~California!
howdy!
my ol', long deceased Grandpa Eddie,
well he helped build a dam called 'Hoover', a looong time ago, on thee outskirtz of Las Vegas.
i fished, in his boat, in Lake Mead, below, his dam, many a time, as a kid,
late 60's ~ early 70's, he knew those waterz well...

there is a huge drought problem here in Thee Western States, simply put.

"A boat pulls a water skier on May 10, 2021, in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, on the Arizona/Nevada border.
A high-water mark or bathtub ring is visible on the shoreline."

we,
million's of pep'z, need help. it is time for Government to stop thinkin' of an oil pipeline, + instead,
build some water pipelines, from say, where that Mississippi River alwayz over~flows into surrounding communities.

let's bring some of that over~flow water, out West,
to replensh our resevoirs + lakes,
in my humble opinion...

what say yee?
do you want more water?
hmmm...
:waving:

ps: edit ~ add-in:
i sometinez used my gramp's Pink Lady:
for fishin, as we trolled near that rad dam that he helped build,
it wuz/is, a superb tool, for a lake fisherman/woman,
to have, in their tackle box, yow!

Seems like in a time when we can send actors and talk show hosts into space, we ought to be able to take the freaking salt out of ocean water efficiently. The excess salt can be used to rim margarita glasses. Plus, post hangover hydration will bring sea level back down. Problems solved. Everybody get drunk and then hydrate!

For my next act, I will bring peace to the middle east.

That’s rad Gramps got to help build a piece of history.

Id advocate doing everything possible to reduce and/or eliminate the excessive/wasteful uses of water that are entirely too commonplace today.
