I decided it was way more power and control than I need at this stage of the game. I'm thinking of a set-it and forget-it depth control for my next planer. I only used this one for skinning and thicknessing my last two boards anyway, so it was kind of a waste of such an advanced piece of shaping technology.

I'll probably see if I get any offers in a week on here, then ebay it if not.

Good deal to be had here for some new pro shaper, for sure!
