According to one idea, the end of the world will be witnessed by the generation existing at the time of the birth of new Israel. That was 1948.

How long is a generation? One 70 year life? Two 70 year lives? Whatever the amount is, lets add that to 1948, and glimpse the end could be near.

Oh well, I hear in Heaven theres lots of paradise, and no such thing as employment or bills. Should be pretty fun.

Since I consider The Bible to be one of the greatest novels of all time, and not to be taken seriously...I have no comment.

according to the bible, nobody but god knows when the end is....

matthew 24:36

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

the bible also mentions armies on horseback during the end times - so i would suspect that we're going to use up all the oil before **** hits the big fan

actually i reviewed the passage about horses and the horses are clearly symbolic - so scratch the idea about inferred oil depletion
