As a teacher I do a lot of life coach stuff.
I'm pretty much a broken record with my "make small doable goals, show up, socially engage with smart people and those with good character, don't be a dick just because you can."

Kids are lucky to have you as a teacher. Maybe throw in the marshmallow experiment and talk about all the ways that practicing the concept of delayed gratification makes your life overall better in the long run?
