Another conservative dickhead getting caught doing the very sort of thing he so passionately rallies against. The consistency with which people who obsess over gays and trans people are ultimately found to be "experimenting" with those lifestyles is pretty hilarious. Got me thinking, I wonder what the search histories of the most ardent anti-trans folks on here must look like. :monkey: :dancing:

I look at tranny porn.

Doesn’t mean I have to agree with the political movement surrounding the transgender “community”.

the Lincoln Project tanked when a man named Weaver who was supposedly a big
deal refused to stop contacting young boys.

Sweet. Vote to take away their basic human rights (i.e. equal protection under the law) and then head home to jerk off to them. Sounds like a great political philosophy. Same thing as voting against abortion rights and then taking your mistress to get one. :socrazy:

Strawman much? you are conflating people who rail against every aspect of transgender rights with people who disagree with certain aspects of the movement and are turned off by the hysteria surrounding it. Such as the fact that now a doctor can lose his job by suggesting that a 13 year old girl should speak to a counselor before deciding to take male hormones.

For example, I have would no problem referring to a transgender person by their desired name or pronoun, but I can disagree with an adult male deciding he's now a female and wanting to compete as a woman in the Olympics. The latter does not make someone transphobic.

I happen to agree with you for the most part. But I'm not conflating anything in this case. The politician in question just voted in favor of a bill that would do essentially exactly what you are concerned about with doctors, except in the reverse and much worse:

"This may surprise some of his constituents, considering what he was doing at work just last week. Whatley voted in favor of S.B. 10 in the state senate, a bill that would criminalize doctors who provide gender-affirming health care to young people in accordance with established transgender standards of care. The bill would be so draconian that a doctor who prescribes puberty blockers could get 10 years in jail for doing their job. According to the AP, the bill would even cover talk therapy for transgender youth. “We don’t want them affirming that, ‘Hey yeah, you’re right, you should be a boy if you are a born a female,'” said the bill’s sponsor, state Sen. Shay Shelnutt (R)."

You think this guy is an advocate for trans rights outside of this instance? Something tells me that is unlikely.

Conflating with guy you started the thread about? No. Duffy? Yes, that sounded like conflation (unless you were talking about the politician), since I don't think he is advocating against trans rights while also waxing the dolphin to tranpron

I viewed his statement as a defense of the politician in question. I can see how you would take it that way though. I should have been clearer.

No worries  I'm not one to speak for duffy and try not to for anybody, but that's how I interpret it. He seems to post a lot of stuff tongue in cheek, such as beating it to trannyporn (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Duffy says a lot of stuff that doesn't sound right. Hard to tell if srs. If he likes tranpron, cool, not judging.
I couldn’t care less about tranporn and who likes it but why would anyone even bring it up if it’s not in their life somehow?
Duffy, nobody cares what you get off on, but whatever it is it isn’t intellectual discussion.

This bill needs to be made federal law
