i got a 1.5 hp air compressor for my birthday, and it only has a 2 gallon tank on it. I wanna do some airbrush work and am pretty sure i need a bigger tank atleast but am wondering if i could just get another tank for it and use that instead.

2 gallon tank is pretty small. Probably gonna have the motor going full time. Might be enough though, have you tried it yet? Not sure how much pressure you'll get in a bigger tank with only a 1.5 horse motor.

i think that that size tank would be fine. As far as putting a new tank on, I think that that would probably be more work thank it's worth. With that small of a motor(like hr just said) you probably wouldn't have enough power to fill a larger tank to it's full capacity anyway.
