Anyone ever ridden one of these? I saw one in Icons of Surf that looked tastey.

I visited the website and saw a video of Mason Ho riding one.

They look pretty sick.

Would that be the 1/2 or 3/4 pint and what the price on the board for what looks like pu/pe nice tint:shrug:

That kid is a good surfer. His self shaped board is a little funky but he surfs it well.
I wanna shape a board.

I wonder how many people on here have shaped their own board??

I've shaped a few.

Very difficult without any guidance and a room to shape - I didn't have either.

I also made all the fins for the boards (FCS original and FU box.)

Both boards - a Lis templated fish and a 2+1 setup went like sh!t.

The fins were o-so-stiff.

It gave me tremendous respect for previous generations who did all the dirty work so we can have the great board we have today.

Surprisingly, the Greenough spoon I made was the easiest but at the same time a huge PITA. I had instructions from Greenough for that though.

These A&H's look good though.

I'd consider getting a Second Breakfast.

I'd also consider never getting one because he calls them "vessels".
The Second Breakfast does look pretty fun. I also like the look of the asym Gaffer.

I wanna shape a board.
Figure either one of these out
anyone can do it, "map" the boards you have for outline curve and rocker
plenty of cutters in O-side, If I was you and really interested
I'd reach out to one and pay them for a couple lessons( get your foot in the door for cuts too)

I second this- id just add that hand shaping a few first would be extremely beneficial to learning and transition to CAD/cutting scrubbing. I would be to find a shaper that can give you a hand shaping lesson n then a cad design lesson on the next one.
