No - I did not try to accept $2K for the board. The scammer had offered me an extra $50 to hold it for an extra week, so $550 was the offer, and I was pretty shocked when I saw the check for $1950, and I knew something was up. The scammer said, oh I have a guy that will meet you to pick up the board for me who is moving some other items for me, so pay him the $1400 for moving expenses. So I was like, yeah right...I called the bank the fake cashiers check was drawn from and reported this and then called the local police to report it. Thanks for jumping to conclusions. I'm sure you feel pretty fukcing stupid right about now.
