STOKED!!!!!! Post up pix!!!!!!!

I been riding da Shrimp Chip almost everyday in town...been having so much fun on it!! I put slightly taller fin w/ lil more rake in the front & it works even better!!! Feels really good backhand too!!

Fin combo: Scarfini FX4 fronts + Futures Controller rears = WINNER!!

EPIC! Get the fark out!!!

Twinzer Chimp could be a one off at this point, who knows could start a trend. Only bummed to see the Futures, check your canards right now, they are probably loose... Surf with an FCS key with you, no joke.

a 5'8 Turbo Chimp will be a wave hog dominator, goodbye funboard freaks and longboard loosers

Enjoy!

Please post a ride report when you have one!

Thinking one of those could be so fun for a Town board...

picked it up on a saturday and had the whole next week off work .

rode it in small weak San-O to really good HB/Newps and eveything in between

it just goes , fast and smooth with a nice touch of looseness . got some good tubes on it and it has that good twinzer rebound in turns . mile long foam climbs and floaters are also really fun .

feels like a good twinzer

this one does power around sections better than all my previous ones .

so far i have tried the AMT and my custom MR78 fins in it , gonna track down some Scarfini twins , T1 , and Apia just so i can say i tried them all

so far the AMT is in the lead

glassing is top notch from the guys at Monstah

Glenn did a good job of listening to my special request and then delivering the goods

board has a low overall rocker ( my standards ) , a shallow single concave with inset double in the fin are ( very minor ) , then flat off the fang tail

main and canard set at same cant , looks to be 6 degrees by my untrained eye

Nice!

Interesting you went with matching cants on the leads and mains. How does that change the feel/performance vs. typical leads with a few degrees more cant than the mains?

Did you go 8-3/4" from the tail for the mains?

Sic board!

i like how matching cant pushes back more , i get more drive , does not swivel turn at the top of the wave , and comes from behind sections better .

i kinda over power the canted out canard boards ( or have to surf a bit held back )

mains at 8.25 per my request

"Best" in surfing is very personal .

aquafortris has my old rusty twinzer . its fin placement feels perfect for it but i dont think it is best for my application on my small wave stuby

How many placements have you tried since 1969 ?

Longer boards don't have have the same placements as Much shorter boards .

Who knows what you could have learned on either with movable fins .
