he just needs to take a trip to the shireThat Vader would sell very quickly if it was between 5’5 to 5’8. There is a much more limited market for boards that are 5’2 and below.
How did it surf tho? Did you prefer quad or tri? That’s my old one….I barely used it much. Looks like it’s still in great condition. It paddled decently but not as good as a poly. I ordered a narrower one in poly/PU when I sold it
Damn I'd cop if I was in SoCal. erBB board train to San Francisco?Who's big ole baby is this one?
5’10” Hydrodynamica Simmons for Sale in El Cajon, CA - OfferUp
Used (normal wear), This thing flies. And gets into waves really easy. I liked it as a straight thruster but I’m a sure some big twins and a trailer would be fun too. I found a narrower stance helpful. It will teach you a lot about your surfing! I just have way too many boards and need to make...offerup.com
HydroshartBut I'm not through with Dark Arts at all. Just need to be more careful on the next one. I'm gonna pick a shape that I love.
I'd think the carbon kevlar with PU blank/EPS stringer might feel similar to the builds you're used toYup! Or da Revo!

Tempted to try BD build. It’s cf on deck and rails only, right?
Revo would be a good (albeit insanely expensive) way to confirm if it’s the shape or construction. I do wonder if Dan made you a pu Vader whether you’d like it more.Yup! Or da Revo!

How about soft/slow summer waves and/or as a crowdkiller?Correct…it’s Drew’s proprietary black and white carbon fiber with a blue reverse cut lap resin tint. Clear bottom, with the Innegra strips that all Chillis have.
It surfed fine, a real good all-rounder. Not much turning swing weight with the EPS, even at that length. I just wanted the feel of reg poly and slightly borrower, especially in the nose for steeper winter surf.
It would suffice….but there are other boards of similar length that would be better for those conditions and less HPHow about soft/slow summer waves and/or as a crowdkiller?
Or, to borrow a saying from Retodd, @ReForest can give me $500 right now and I’ll kick him in the nuts for free.I'd think the carbon kevlar with PU blank/EPS stringer might feel similar to the builds you're used to
