to use a retodd expression, very blobby foils as wellEvery set I’ve got from them had to be sanded down so they’d fit in the boxes.
It looks like Josh places his fins closer in than most which makes more sense for those. Personally I'd just stick to some flats on that link you posted.Since we're talking Captain Fin... Has anyone tried the CF Josh Hall twin fins? I recall double foiled fins don't get much love around here.
It would be for this board: https://www.lifestylesurfshop.co.za/product-page/ferral-retro-fish-blue-and-red. ignore bottom deck picture (way distorted).
Same here never had a set that fit the even the last set of true ams I got were even to long and wideEvery set I’ve got from them had to be sanded down so they’d fit in the boxes.
It's not so bad if you have to sand it down but if you get a pair of aftermarket Futures with the side to side wobble, that's it -- instant return. Can't be fixed, since there's no side screw.Same here never had a set that fit the even the last set of true ams I got were even to long and wide
Imo old boxes dont like new fins. boxes got just slightly wider. All my oldest futures wobble in new boards (og vectors and blackstix)It's not so bad if you have to sand it down but if you get a pair of aftermarket Futures with the side to side wobble, that's it -- instant return. bigglesworth, those look like a nice balanced template to me. More upright than the AM and heavy fiberglass layup characteristic of True Ames. I imagine they will be stiff and pivotal.Anybody tried these?

Are Fannings same template as Carvers? People seem to like those as a predictable fin. (too raked for my taste)Large, but im fat 220lbs, wish i could find some extra larges or something
