One thing is that you can apply it to a flat lens port on a water housing to maintain what we call a dry port. Very convenient when you can just rub your face, then buff it onto the port. Hate those water drops.What's so big about Shiseido sunscreen besides the price?

I always used spit on my waterhousing ports, but can also apply unscented candle wax to the acrylic and buff it in using a clean, dry cloth.
